the library lecture

Today, we had a library lecture.
I learned mainly about the databases.
Actually, I had never used the database, and I didn't know how to use it, so it was really useful lecture.
What I was impressed most was that we can find even newspaper articles by the database.
We can even find today's latest articles!
It's amazing.

And it was fun to see the list of newspapers from all over the world.
I even find newspaper such as, "Irish times". I think it is really nice that I can read Irish times in Japan!
(I went to Ireland this summer for SEA program, so Ireland is kind of another homeland to me now. I really like Ireland.)

I think I am going to use the newspaper and magazine databases pretty much for my research.
It seems really convenient.

The databases I learned about today: LexisNexis (newspaper database), JSTOR (magazine database), CiNii (Japanese newspaper database).
